Nourishment ↠≫≫ Anti-Inflammatory Pineapple Smoothie

Pineapples! Not only are pineapples a deliciously sweet treat, but they're packed with nutrients and vitamin C, aiding in strengthening the immune system and reducing inflammation in the body. Pineapples contain an enzyme called bromelain, which acts as a natural anti-inflammatory. Bromelain has proven to be beneficial in treating arthritis, muscle, and joint pain and swelling.   It also enhances digestion, as it aids in the breakdown of proteins.

Try this anti-inflammatory pineapple smoothie:

Makes one large serving:
+ 1-2 cups of pineapple
+ 1 inch of peeled fresh ginger
+ 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric
+ 1-2 cups of cashew milk, coconut water or water
+ 1 handful of spinach leaves
+ 1/2 a cucumber
+ 1 teaspoon of fresh vanilla
+ 1/2 cup of ripe mango

Place all the ingredients in a blender, blend, and enjoy!
