Frøjya (pron. Fruh-ya) connects the darkness with the light, beauty with strength, and the past with the future. Inspired by sonic storytellers like Led Zeppelin, The Grateful Dead, Jack White, Pink Floyd and Jefferson Airplane, they create soundscapes that alter reality, as the rhythm of the seasons shapes the wild northern landscape that surrounds them. Frøjya continues the work that The Rhythm Ship began, and they carry the legacy of that music into the future. But the trajectory has changed, and that future is of their own design.

I aspire to inspire you to connect with your authentic self through my words and then maybe even write your own."

Chelsea Paolini, the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter of Portsmouth, New Hampshire riff-rock trio People Skills, retains her signature sound with her solo acoustic act, maintaining the high energy of her original tunes. With the use of a loop pedal, she can record chords and segments live on stage and solo over them for a funky feel to give a more upbeat performance than the traditional singer-songwriter. In addition to her acoustic adaptations of the songs she writes for People Skills, she plays brand new originals, including songs off her new solo album "One More Before The Therapy Kicks In". Her style blends rock, funk, blues, psychedelic, jam, pop, and the melodic riff-rock style of People Skills.
"The Newmarket-based quartet harnesses the eclecticism of their jam-influenced idols, like Lettuce, Soulive, and Consider the Source, showcasing funk, jazz, blues, hip-hop, and even gypsy music...
The Trichomes craft hip-swinging tunes with melodies and harmonies that weave through one another, one riff fading out as another takes its place."

The marriage of hard rock and folk is not new, but Slow Coyote’s musical versatility casts a net to capture listeners of all interests. Juggling sludgy, fuzzy garage rock and psychedelic freak folk, Slow Coyote employs the techniques of the early ’90s Sub Pop groups that molded a mask of loud, sloppy grunge over the tender face of folk.

Sean Burke, from Long Island, New York, combines a variety of genres including rock, jazz, and blues. The arrangements of electric guitar, bass, drums and keyboard, are all played by Burke himself.
