11- 11:45: ElectroFlo with Emily Wiswell 

Description: An upBEAT and dynamic vinyasa flow sequence taught by Emily infused with Dan’s live electronic sounds incorporating acoustic elements. Stretch, dance and breath in community!

Bio: Emily Wiswell classes combine a fluid expression of the asanas, with an accessible approach to the spiritual foundation of yoga. She received her 200 hour certification from Health Yoga Life in Boston (2014). Emily believes wholeheartedly that the practice of movement and spirituality can change one’s life, that each person has the right to fulfill their bliss.

 

11 - 11:45 SUP YOGA with Alexandra Portsmouth Paddle Co.

Description: Ebb & Flow Paddle Board Yoga. Combine your love for yoga with paddle boarding. Feel your surroundings and let your body move on the open water for a rejuvenating practice.

Bio: Alexandra Dunberger is a guide and paddle board pilates/yoga instructor with Portsmouth Paddle Co., as well as a 100-hour certified Barre pilates instructor with Barre & Soul in Portsmouth. An avid yogi since 2001, she has completed courses in India and Stockholm and enjoys yoga in all of its forms. Alexandra is passionate about combining her love for paddle boarding and pilates/yoga movement on the open water to offer a rejuvenating experience. Description:

Strength & Flow Paddle Board Yoga. Breathe and strengthen with this mix of paddle board yoga/pilates. Rooted in balance, grow strong through subtle, controlled movements and relax with the movement of the open water.

1 - 1:45: Harmonious Hips with Julia Tiribassi

Description: A balanced yoga practice promotes a combination of deep hip flexibility with mindful strengthening to ensure the ideal balance of both mobility and stability. In this creative class you'll experience an overall structural recalibration sourced in increased hip mobility, decreased tension, and overall elevated function. We'll work with classic yoga poses (asanas), as well as a non-traditional variety of exercises, techniques, poses, and approaches to unlocking - and rebooting - these complex joints.

Bio: As a former personal trainer, it was Julia's passion for movement and an on-going fascination with the body’s unlimited potential that led her to a full-time career as an independent Yoga teacher. An avid movement enthusiast, asana addict, alignment geek, and strength fanatic, Julia infuses all of her teaching with an impassioned knowledge of sound bio-mechanics, applied anatomy, functional efficiency, and an overall zest for playful movement adventures. Eternally true to her days as a fitness trainer, Julia’s teaching style continues to include plenty of athleticism, but has evolved into a unique “special blend” of creative physicality, sweaty satisfaction, mindful movement, and keen attention to deep detail. 2 - 2:45: The 8 Limbed Experience with Bjorn Turnquist

Description: So Cool! In 45 minutes, you'll practice the 8 limb path of Classical Yoga as spelled out by Patanjali over 2000 years ago. Through breath, movement and spirit, you'll end up feeling more peaceful in your body, mind and heart.

Bio: Bjorn is the Co-Founder of 3 Bridges Yoga. Bjorn's classes allow for centering, stability, freedom and ease, leading and teaching students to their Divine Self.

 

3 - 3:45: Create & Celebrate Flow with Michelle Couture

 

Description: Ground into yourself by cultivating intentions and expand further into your awareness. Open the body through beautiful, dynamic movement and celebrate as we practice together in community and nature!

Bio: Michelle has been teaching vinyasa flow yoga in the Seacoast community for 10 years. She is the Founder and Director of SATYA's Yoga and Cancer Program and currently serves on SATYA's Board of Directors. Michelle is known for teaching with compassion and with specific cues that leads her students to a feeling of exhilaration, peace and inner awareness.

 

3 - 3:45: Gentle Flow SUP YOGA with Katie Johnson

 

Description: Intro to SUP YOGA. Bringing the foundations of a vinyasa flow yoga class onto the water involves careful attention to detail. Move through this class with focus on breath, body placement and watch as your practice transforms into a dance with the water.

Bio: Katie Johnson, owner and instructor of Southern Maine based SUP Yoga business, Koan Wellness, began teaching yoga on the Seacoast in 2015. Her passion for nature soon brought her practice onto the water where she teaches inspiring and energizing SUP Yoga classes throughout the summer season. Katie's classes will leave you feeling soothed and invigorated while taking in the serene setting of the outdoor elements.

4 - 4:45: Rising Shakti with Marla Cinilia

Description: Shakti is the divine feminine principle present in all of creation. Join Marla for a practice of Sahaja (spontaneous flow) asana designed to awaken your own vibration of creation. This class will expand your auric field, making you magnetizing to those around you and deeply confident in your own unique way of being.

Bio: Marla Cinilia is a heart-based E-RYT 500 vinyasa flow teacher. She is the co-owner of 3 Bridges Yoga, serving the Portsmouth, NH and York, ME communities. She also co-leads soul-fueled yoga retreats both locally and internationally.  

 

4 - 4:45: Water Warrior SUP YOGA with Katie Johnson
 

Description: Water Warrior (Intermediate Level) - Discover your ability to heighten your presence on the water, moving gradually into more advanced poses in this class. Play time encouraged!

 

5 - 5:45: Ceremony of the Body with Stephen Bethel

Description: Journey through your layers with a vigorous vinyasa flow class, infused with Native American tradition to expand your mind and penetrate your heart.

Bio: Stephen Bethel (aka Bethel) has been practicing yoga since his late teens, and has been involved in Native American ceremony for two decades. He studied yoga with Sharon Gannon and David Life, and began teaching in 2005. He and his wife Kristen host retreats, farm to table yoga dinners, and (with the help of farm apprentices) grow mad vegetables organically at Bethel Farm. Check us out at bethelfarm.org
