Shakti Soul Jam

With Stephanie Lasher

Description: Shakti Soul Jam - a movement practice inspired by Nature. Liberate your fluid body with spirals and undulations as we breathe Spirit into the hidden spaces.

Bio: From dancing on feet to dancing on hands, Stephanie Lasher's (E-RYT) love of creative movement spans three decades. Known for her fluid grace and whimsical weaving of postures, Stephanie loves guiding students into the recognition of their own intrinsic magic through playful explorations into the bodymind with breath and awareness. 1:15 - 2:00PM: 

PACHAMAMA YOGA CEREMONY

with Jonas Zev

Description:  At a time when all the living earth systems are under brutal attack from human civilization, we will weave together a shamanic and yogic breath/movement experience intended to honor and help heal the living consciousness of Mother Earth.

Bio:  Jonas Zev has been a practitioner of the healing arts since 1997, primarily working within the tradition  of yoga.  He creatively and passionately weaves Ayurvedic medicine and different shamanic traditions into his yoga offerings. Currently, when he is not co-directing Shilo Farm Eco Lodge & Retreat in Eliot, Maine with his wife, he finds himself enjoying being a student of Tai Chi and Peruvian Shamanism. 

 

 

2:15-3:00PM:

MOVINg OBSTACLES

With Lily Dougher 

Description:  Moving Obstacles: Release whatever it is that may be holding you back through a Ganesha inspired flow. This class will explore pranayama, mudras, meditation, and mantra to reawaken our energy and bring awareness to our obstacles and self limited beliefs. Ganesha is the elephant headed deity who symbolizes new beginnings. He is the 'gate-keeper,' and remover of obstacles. He reminds us to find the sweetness in life and remember that the best is yet to come.

Bio:  Subscribing less to a particular brand name or style, Lily believes that a teacher should meet the student where they are so that the yoga is tailored to the needs of the student. Lily has been a student of yoga since she was 11 years old and is an advanced Registered Yoga Teacher (eRYT). She has completed 200hrs vinyasa yoga, level 1 & 2 Yin Yoga training, Forrest Yoga Teacher immersion, and a Mentorship with Nicole Clark. Lily finished 300hrs of Ashtanga Teacher Training with Kimberly Dahlmann (student of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois) and teacher immersions with Eddie Modestini (student of B.K.S. Iyengar). She is cerified in Ropewall and Slings from Alison West in NYC and trained and certified aerial yoga teacher. She believes in the balance of hatha yoga in the Iyengar and Ashtanga methods and is able to embrace the grace and fluidity of Vinyasa.




3:15-4:00PM: 

Witchcraft-Asana

With Marla Cinilia

Description: Place the intention of your physical asana within the context of a traditional spell-casting to work your magick on the mat.  This practice will include mantra, ritual, asana, pranayam, and building collective consciousness.

Bio:  Marla Cinilia is an E-RYT 500, a heart-based yogi, and co-owner of 3 Bridges Yoga studios in Portsmouth, NH and York, ME.  She leads regular public classes, workshops, teacher training immersions and retreats both locally and internationally.



 



4:15 - 5:00: 

MOVING MEDITATION

With Sara Curry

Description: Yoga is a powerful tool to bring us from the hectic world in which we live down into our bodies for precious moments. In this class, we’ll use body-centered, present-moment cueing to help you find presence and awareness while simultaneously cultivating full range of motion and freedom from pain in your body.

 
 


Bio: Sara Curry is a 500-hour certified therapeutic Bikram Yoga instructor with 15 years teaching experience. She is the Vice-President of Seacoast Area Teachers of Yoga in Action and co-founder of the Sober Yogis program. Sara’s teaching blends physicality and meditation toward the same goals: healing, health, and self-awareness.

UNLEASH YOUR WILD

With the creators of Wild VibeS:
 AJ Govoni & Maggie Barrett and live beats from DJ QWILL

Description:  Conscious creation: Celebrate your natural state and unleash the wild within. Move with freedom, intention, and connect with community to the live beats of DJ Qwill, performance artists, and the creators of Wild Vibes Festival.

Bio: It was 2014 when Maggie and AJ met together for the first time. The two envisioned creating a place - an experience - that was built on the foundation of inclusivity and collaboration; creativity and community. And it was in that initial meeting that the creation of Wild Vibes was born. Through the universal languages of yoga, music, and art, Wild Vibes is a celebration of life that aims to bridge the gap, bring people together, and consciously create community.
